KVI 180–630 is a flap valve designed for installation in existing plastic, concrete, or steel pipes (ID to be specified when ordering).
It is used to prevent backflow, for example at the outlet from sewer systems to open channels or pump stations. The flap can be installed both above and below the water surface.

The flap is angled at less than 15° and mounted in a maintenance-free rubber hinge with embedded fabric reinforcement.
This design ensures low hydraulic resistance in the flow direction, while a flexible seal provides reliable closure in the event of backflow. The valve seals against the existing pipe using dual rubber rings.

KVI 180–630 is made of corrosion-resistant materials and contains no mechanical components.
It is easy to install, requires minimal maintenance, and offers smooth opening in the flow direction with secure closure against reverse flow.

Applications: Sewer systems, channels, and pump stations.
Operation: Automatic flap in rubber hinge.
